NON-SCHEDULED FLIGHTS
1.2.3.1.
Procedures
If an operator
intends to perform a (series of) non-scheduled flight(s) into
Indonesia for the purpose of taking on or disembarking
passenger, cargo or mail, application shall be made to the
Directorate General of Air Communications and Department of
Defense and Security at least 14 (fourteen) working days in
advance containing information on following items :

Name, address and nationality of the
operator.

Type and registration of the aircraft.

Date, time of arrival at the departure from
the airport(s) in Indonesia.

Place(s) of embarkation or disembarkation
abroad, as the case may be, of passengers and/or freight.

Purpose of flight and number of passengers
and/or nature and amount of freight.

Information on charter price, name, address
and business of charter if any.
1.2.3.2. If an
operator intends to make flight across or in transit for
non-traffic purposes, notification shall be made at least 14
(fourteen) working days in advance to the Directorate General of
Air Communications and the Department of Defense and Security to
obtain security clearance.
1.2.3.3.
Application for a series of flights shall be submitted provided
that alternations if any should be notified well in advance.
1.2.3.4. For
flights by civil aircraft registered in States that are not
parties to the Convention on International Civil Aviation
(Chicago Convention) clearance, approval or permission to fly
across or in transit for non-traffic purposes shall be obtained
through diplomatic channel.
1.2.3.5.
For flights other than those described in para 1.2.3.4 above,
application to obtain approval permission or clearance through
diplomatic channel shall be submitted 14 (fourteen) days in
advance and shall contain particular as stated 1.2.3.1.
